As part of our project, we took our Green Ambassadors to the heart of Eskişehir’s energy production: the Integrated Solid Waste Disposal and Energy Generation Plant in Odunpazarı Sarısungur. 
We witnessed firsthand how 900 tons of daily domestic waste is transformed into 7.8 megawatts of electricity, powering tens of thousands of homes. From methane gas combustion to advanced bio-waste management, we explored the vital role these modern facilities play in creating a cleaner, greener future.
