We would like to share the key findings from our comprehensive pilot testing of the Computational Seniors Open Educational Resources (OERs) in Greece, Lithuania, Poland, and Spain! 130 adult trainers participated, providing invaluable feedback on these resources designed to integrate computational thinking into adult education.
Here’s a snapshot of what we learned:
𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The OER modules were well-received across all participating countries!
𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀: Coherence and relevance were consistently highlighted as key strengths across the modules.
𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: We’ve gathered valuable suggestions to improve clarity in some explanations and strengthen the connection to real-life teaching applications.
𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Trainers found the modules highly applicable for adult education, particularly for promoting inclusion and developing essential digital skills.
