The “COMPutational Seniors” project develops practical learning materials based on four core principles of computational thinking:
Decomposition – breaking complex problems into smaller, more manageable parts;
Pattern recognition – identifying similarities, recurring situations, and possible solutions;
Abstraction – focusing on the most relevant information;
Algorithmic thinking – developing clear, step-by-step solutions.
Following the National Pilot Committee meeting in Lithuania, we can conclude that the content developed within the project may be useful not only for seniors, but also for immigrants and other vulnerable groups. These materials can help learners strengthen problem-solving skills, develop greater confidence, and participate more actively in everyday and digital environments.
